Please try the following:
- Click the
Sacramento
button, or try again later.
- If you are the California
state governor and typed the state's name in the address bar, make sure
that it is spelled correctly.
- To check your legislator
attitude settings, click the Legislator menu, and then click
Political Party Options. On the Stupidity menu, choose
Partisan Politics. The settings should match those provided by
your party leader.
- If the House Of Representatives
had ratified it, Sacramento could examine your program's funding and
automatically discover funding for it. They didn't.
If you would like to use abnormal funding channels to try to discover
funding, click
Detect Funding
- Some programs require
a two-thirds majority to fund them. Click the Special Interest
menu and then click About Lobbying to determine the level of
campaign support required.
- If you are against the incumbent
governor, and are trying to regain some control, make sure to cover as
many bases as possible. Click the Tools menu, and then click on Governor
Recall.
Click the Advanced button, scroll to the Obsessively Ignore
Constitutional Obligations section and check the Too
Busy To Ratify Budget box.
- If you favor the
incumbent governor, and are trying to
retain some control, make sure to cover as many bases as possible. Click
the Tools menu,
and then click on Oppose Recall. Click the Advanced
button and choose the Obsessively Ignore Constitutional Obligations section
and check the Too Busy To Ratify Budget box.
- If you are a student or public employee
in California, keep your "vacation" job in case either school does not reopen,
or financial aid is unavailable. You have seen this coming ever since Prop.
13, haven't
you?
